The Central Hall with a theme of ‘Life along the River’, has an installation on the ceiling of a collection of traditional Fishing equipment. The wall panels have pictorial and informative representation of the theme. The proposed central piece of this hall will be ‘The Flow of Heritage’, a table-top topographical scale model of the River Brahmaputra from the point it enters and exits India, with elements of significance along the course of the River. Placed in a niché at the corner of the Central Hall, is a fully functioning traditional weaving loom.
